career progression - you wont be lateralling into bmcc or cc with 2:2 and clas volunteer of the year cert thats for sure

working culture - depends, some places you wont be able to tell colleagues and clients apart

work hours - depends, fam law on weekends and ph sure got clt call you for child access etc

exit opportunities - i had a friend quit to become property agent, dunno what you can make of that

So rare to see people talk about PIMA NIMA! One of the forgotten areas of law that nobody in law school thinks they will ever (have the misfortune to) do. Most law firms will always be stuck with the low level motor claims. Unfortunately, only the insurance lawyers from big firms get to do the high-value work. The smaller firms just contend with motor claims.

It is worse for the Plaintiff-side NIMA, doing lots of work with little legal costs. And clients are known to be very nasty and stingy.
