Does doing community law make it easier than say, corporate law, to last longer in practice?

Maybe HR is snobbish about universities as a way to sift CVs but they're not at all related to work once you start practising...

Don't know about University College Dublin but from what I gather USC is a well regarded institution.
University of Liverpool isn't too shabby either.
Anyway in my view, if a person has to keep putting down other universities or upselling their own (especially if they're already years into practice), I think they've got other issues lah. lol.

Actually when you do law you just ask yourself what you want.
Cos prestige is also one of the reasons why people do law.
Sometimes we can have prestige.
Prestige might come at the expense of salary.
So if your goal was to be a lawyer, then doing litigation, community law is the closest to what law was all about in novels, TW and Korean legal dramas.
If your goal was to be in white shoe and magic circle, then only a few areas would cut it: International capital markets work (India focused), Funds practice, and M&A. General corporate won’t cut it. Your simple SHA/JVA all these are law work but it doesn’t get you to the MC/white shoe.
