Really depends on the practice area. I'm in fam law so my matters have quite a fixed timeframe, most days I work around 10-6/7pm. Quite happy to be able to be home with my family and have dinner on most weekdays. Am not getting as much as my MC friends but was able to get to around 200k pa by my 8th year so am happy.

Yes, it's very stable work. I don't really feel stressed about the BD side of things - work is always coming in.

Thats what I like about community law. You can count on people to get divorced or commit crime(s) every day.
What I dont like is the factfinding and the emotional aspect. Hate it when clients cannot be contacted or treat me as their therapist, smlj also tell me.
Every week take on one PG and miti, flat fee of 3k (if the one charge only kind one), ez 12k per month alr. Minus overheads etc (or if you WFH), ~10k per month. Same for fam work if simplified uncontested. Draft a few wills here and there got pocket money to buy mlbb skin lmao

They both are different. Psychiatrist prescribes medication while psychologist provides therapy and/or counselling. Usually you need to see both for an effective treatment. I went to private before and the doctor that I saw is the most unempathetic and judgemental doctor ever. My mistake for not choosing a doctor properly. And plus private is very expensive and they only care about money cause more patients = more money I guess (like a business) unlike the government sector you are paid a fixed monthly salary despite the number of patients you see (high or low).
