But can “anyone” be a lawyer?
The profession is prestigious, have high barriers to entry.
Need to pass part b, training contract etc.
Have some confidence. Lawyers in Sg (Sg qualified lawyers and not ppl whose law degrees not even ranked in QS or THE) - about 5,500.
Population: 5.5M. Get the picture??

Law is going to be totally destroyed once ceca is allowed to practice as qualified lawyers. Look at what the government open legs policy has done to another so-called prestigious profession medicine, where an influx of cecas have led to junior sinkie doctors without the prospect of getting into consultant positions filled by cecas.

Isn’t your argument more prevalent in the tech industry than legal? Outsourcing/recruiting foreign professionals is quite normal in tech no? Brudder u want to rant and make yourself feel good on a forum concerning lawyers u can atleast craft a better argument that won’t be destroyed in a sentence right

It's finally time for lawyers to come down from their high horses.
Arrogant and cocky, now your job and prospects are literally crap. Congrats to those who considered studying law but did not pursue it!
