what is probation period
whats the point and use of probation period, anyone?
my probation period is quite long, not sure if its a good or bad thing..

it's to see whether u and ur employer suit each other.
how long is urs? norm is 6 months

Probation period is so employer can fire you if you suck at your job.

Depends on company policy. Generally the higher your level the longer it takes. Most jr officers/execs tend to be 3-6 months whereas managers & sr execs can last 1 year.
