When our MI gets reduced for years, no announcement on this but yet they are so quick to announce the salary revision, misleading the public that we are well paid. Though our salary is still lagging the median salary.

Not very sure because some SBs not affected. Those that use MX affected and it is permanent cut according to HR. This means MI since 2020 has been lower than previous ~3-4%

If we only look at the ministries (exclude SBs), even their specialist schemes got MI and PI reduced. And probably permanently too...

The reason for cutting of MI is due to the increase in retirement and reemployment ages. Need to lower the MI so ppl won’t hit the ceiling so quick.

Haiz, there’s a lot of stupid ppl complaining about hitting ceiling. So the bosses take the easy/cheap solution of lowering MI, rather than the expensive solution of raising ceiling😅

Didn’t know it would be a permanent thing, thought only temporary due to covid. Sigh..
