Haiz. I am a fresh grad and tried offering $200 per hour to old uncles last week. Quite lucrative. Many of my girl friends are turning into the flesh trade too. Given that all of us cannot find jobs!

Major? Honours classification?

What jobs you looking at? What is your approx. salary expectation?

NUS accountancy, honours with merit. Tried big 4 but couldn't get so trying mid tier audit firms. hoping for 3k but most mid tiers pay 2.7k. are my expectations really too high?

And I thought engineering's 3.5k starting was bad...

No 3k is not unreasonable. It's the mass supply of accountants to be that's unreasonable. You might want to either find a smaller accounting firm that pays better, or to do something other than accounting.

accounting sector starting pay is very low but they promise "learning opportunities" and "high increment"
