SAS BIA Program
 
Anyone know the starting pay for this program? And the pay after the 9 months training? Thanks!

how high do u want it to be? they are not hiring some hot-shot data scientist with years of exp. they r jus recruiting trainees who onli need to know the very basic in stats and programming, who will spend the first 2 years doing mundane stuff like data cleaning, summarizing and visualizing.

data scientist is hot and in extreme demand now, but it onli applies to ppl with exp.

yep 2016 number. FYI 2016 batch is the last batch of for SAS. They have hit their quota with IDA with the last 7 in this batch. Other programs will take over this in the future if they manage to negotiate for more with IDA.

3K is definitely on a lower side for a fresh graduate. But 2 points to note, it is only for the first 9 months. After that its up to you to get what you want. Secondly, SAS training given in the first 3 months is worth 18k. Amortized over a period of 9 months, thats still 2k a month. I'll say its plenty worth it
