Only 15 days of annual leaves? I do remember from my friend working in Heineken said that they have one of the highest number of annual leaves in the market..

Unregistered 12-06-2016 10:26 AM

Did any non-Singaporean from the half-day AC receive a similar offer? Or has no one heard back yet? Maybe the conditions are slightly different/the timing of the offers.

Did they contact you via email or phone call?

Really? I thought 15AL sounded pretty fine. Maybe your friend gained more days from some other things?

Yes I'm Singaporean and got the news by phone.

Ok, interesting to hear. I'm a non-Singaporean applicant and haven't heard back yet, but they also told us we would know by Monday. Don't really expect to get a positive reply anymore, but hope dies last I guess.......

Thanks for sharing. 3.4k is not too shabby for a fresh graduate. All the best in Heineken!

Yeah but a far cry from what the big boys at P&G and Unilever pay.

Why even compare FMCG companies to a brewing company? why not add in banks and law firms to compare?

Seriously...

3400 maybe lower than what P&G or Unilever is offering. However, regardless of the companies, those who could make it into the graduate or management trainee programs are already winners in their own way.

End of the day, everything in this forum may not be true. We have someone from previous posting said that Heineken is offering 3800 and now we have someone who accepted offer from Heineken to say that he/she is being offered 3400.

Haha because many might consider Heineken to be an FMCG company as well?

Plus, not all banks or law firms pay higher than P&G/Unilever grad/MA roles.

I was at the half day session and I don't remember that they gave that figure, but rather said it should be 'competitive'. Maybe I overheard that.

Did you receive an offer from them? I haven't gotten anything so far (foreigner & attended half day session).

not yet. but to be honest, if the salary is about 3400, it cannot be called competitive.haha. i remembered he mentioned the figure: 4500

U're a fresh grad. What are u expecting, the sky?

Unregistered 13-06-2016 03:35 PM

Am a Singaporean from the full day sess and have yet to receive a call/email either. Chances are low for me I suppose!

Unregistered 13-06-2016 04:05 PM

Do you suppose there is a waiting list and they are contacting people only if a prioritized candidate rejects an offer?

I am quite sure it isnt 4500. It should be standardized to Singapore package regardless of whether if you are local or foreigner.

Be it 3400 or 3800, like I said, take everything here as a pinch of salt.

Unregistered 13-06-2016 07:53 PM

Yup it should be standardized regardless if you're local or foreigner.

Unregistered 14-06-2016 01:03 AM

Didn't get the call too. Probably rejected.

But I am not feeling bad knowing that the salary they offered is only market average. No offence. All the best to those who are offered by Heineken.

3.4k to 3.8k is definitely not the 'average' for a fresh grad. It is a very decent starting salary and the experience/exposure at a brand name like Heineken will put the person on good footing on which to launch his career path.

Don't be salty.

Yeah I am also probably out, and I agree, the program would definitely have been worth it to accept a bit of a lower salary, simply cause you can probably learn a lot. Congrats!

Yeah 3.4k isnt too bad. Diageo is paying almost the same salary too for their fresh graduates.

Unregistered 15-06-2016 05:48 PM

So is it for sure that Heineken offers 3.4k for graduate trainee? I wish to apply next year. Can anyone confirm this? Seems like only one person spoke about the salary.

Regardless, you should take everything information you read here with a pinch of salt. You should apply with the consideration of the industry, company, and if program fits your career goals and direction.

Wow. That is a lot. Are you in the program? Why would the previous guy say 3.4k? Is it not standardised?

I highly doubt this when P&G is at 4K and Unilever close to 5k.

Any other news?

I thought P&G doesn't have a graduate programme. And i heard from my friend he gets more than 5k as an entry level assistant brand manager.

They do - P&G has a grad program that starts out them as 4k base.

I am not sure if they officially call it a grad program but yes, they do have one. And I am fairly certain your friend isn't getting more than 5k without any years of experience in the business.

Trust me, I work in the industry.

I can confirm that Heineken is their fresh graduates 3.4k to 3.5k, the guy talking about 3.8k or 4.6k are all trolls.

It doesn't matter. It only depends on how much u want to believe.

Unless you are the actual candidate getting offer, if not, nothing here can be proven to be true.

Sheesh lol. People who may not even get into the program thinking so much about the starting salary.. You have other things to worry about bro.

Anyway, I don't know who else got into the program so I can't get anybody to corroborate my package.

I agree. It really just highlights the strawberry and durian generations entering the workforce. Everyone has lofty pay expectations... at this rate we will be overwhelmed by the influx of cheaper, more experienced foreign talents. And it will be all our younger generations' own doing.

Didnt you guys go for contract signing already? I saw it at reddit forum. You should know who are the other successful candidates.

Anyone applied for the 2017 APAC Programme?

Unregistered 19-11-2016 11:41 PM

Me. I applied for APAC 2017. I just got informed to do the video interview. You?

js1992 21-11-2016 08:42 AM

I just completed the survey on 16/11/2016. How long did they take to revert back to you?
