Civil Service Extended Mx Scheme
Hi
Anyone whose agency has adopted this extended MX Scheme? Mine was recently and I opted for it. Used to be in Technical Scheme Grade 4, and now converted to MX12. No change in salary at $3.8K. Any idea what will happen if there will be any change in designation etc. My supervisor is also in MX12, and not sure what's in store for me. |
depends on how the dept operationalizes the roles. higher mgt doesn't muddle in these kind of nitty gritty reporting level sort of issues.
I'm more interested in how the PB As,Bs and Cs are gonna be distributed now that the diploma and below folks are all lumped together. Hope the grads have a better chance of absorbing the B grades and above now. |
can i ask were u previously under Technical Support Officer (TSO) scheme?
://.moe.gov.sg/careers/eas/tso/ ://morethanjustajob.spf.sg/#!civilian_careers/content/8 im in MHA now. few hundred civilians will be converting from TSO to HTSS (Home Team Specialist Scheme) before june 2016. problem is none of us knows / have any insider info whether is it better / worse after the revised scheme in which they lump ITE / dip / deg holders under 1 path...my colleagues and i are actually hoping for better pay and working hours. btw i saw your post in another topic. i feel u shld have taken a degree from unisim not DL, as i dont think many govt organizations recognize DL degrees such as UOL / RMIT / etc... |

Yeah from Technical Support previously. |
im the poster from #3.
just curious how come your pay @ TSO 4 is so low? u mentioned 3.8k at both TSO 4 and MX12? im TSO 6 and hitting the salary ceiling for it @ 3.2k...i asked my colleagues in the same dept and they told me the salary ceiling for TSO 5 is around 4.2k...so your figures dont tally at all bcos u are already 2 grades higher den me? fyi, im working as TSO for police under MHA... |

i worked 6 years to hit 3.2k...they offered me 2050 during my 1st year so u can do the maths. idk abt the rest of civil service but i feel my dept really slack. 2 hours for lunch + sleeping time seems to be the norm lol... only problem is the job is physically demanding and requires me to work indoors and outdoors. |
