Hi,
Like to ask around, how does a new agent starts out?Ie, after joining estate agency, does he/she gets assigned to a team and starts to sell properties that the team have on hand or he/she have to advertise, loook for sellers themselves? Is it more of a D.I.Y approach from advertising, looking for sellers, looking for agents to co-broke,looking for buyers etc?
Like to know more as im interested in changing line to a prop agent..
Thanks in advance!

I supposed now, the market is not encouraging you to become an agent, since no response from other agents. Best to stick to your present job instead.

Dear Curious,
There are many ways to start out as a new agent. The most common and easiest way is to check out the network around you to see if anyone requires any assistance from an Agent.
Those who have difficulty with their own network will start with canvassing the Cold market looking either for Buyers or Sellers.
Every Company and Team will have their systems and trainings in place to support your career along the way.
In time, you will figure out what's your best personalized approach to succeed in this industry.
Email me if you require more details.
Cheers!

Showroom agent
Hi,
Any one know what is the commission for showroom agents? Understand that normal agents earn 1-2%.
Show room agents seems to be able to get sales easily since only interested parties will visit the showroom and it's like client walking to u instead of u reaching out to clients.
ESP those good location condos where queues are form even before their launch date...it's like confirm sales.
So if I join the property agent line, am I able to just do show room sales?
Thanks for any advises.
