Working on weekends, am I entitled to time off?
Hi guys, I'm new to the working industry and have just been employed after working part time for awhile. I'm drawing executive salary. Under my new contract its a 5 day work week job. If in the future I am needed by my company to help out in events during weekends (e.g. roadshows) do companies typically give time off?
Thanks in advance, I could not find any info online hence asking more experienced people here so that when the time comes I know what rights I have.

totally up to the company. by right will give. but too many fup companies these days, so dont expect too much. if got give, treat it as bonus. if dont give, just have to think whether worth it to stay or not. cause you complain no use, sooner or later, you'll be out. they'll just give someone to replace you.

to add on, best to clarify with your boss AND hr now. so you'll know what to expect. rather than next time you kena activated for weekend, and you thought got off day next week, but got nothing at all.

Roger that, thanks for the feedback, I will find a good time to bring this up with my boss. Hopefully they are reasonable.
