The interview will come right after the presentation. I was given this info by HR, but I am curious (and also quite nervous) about what kinds of topics I am expected to write and present on. Anyone has any experience/able to give any advice? Also, what sort of salary should I be expecting? I am a fresh grad from a private uni, with a first-class honours degree.
Thank you in advance!

Hi there,
Did you apply for the specific position in the Gov Careers portal, or did you submit an expression of interest to PSD and they referred you the job?
Also in uploading information up, should we also upload the cover letter and academic transcripts? I understand only the resume is important.
Many thanks.

Hmm, the Information Officer scheme pays this much meh? I am skeptical.
Are you referring to the Intelligence Officer scheme instead? The Intelligence Officer scheme pays that much, that I know for a fact.

MCI HR is known to be rather slow. The whole process (from submitting application to job offer) can take 3-4 months.

Yes, they are rather slow. From application to first intv is about 3 weeks, and then to second intv is about one month, and to result of second intv is about 3 weeks.

Hi, as someone who works there, I can tell you the salary range for fresh grad is quite correct. Where u fall within that range depends on your honours and past work/internship experience. If you are male and completed NS, your starting pay is higher to compensate for the two years of non-employment, as with most civil service jobs.
IO is a degree level job, and it is not easy - depending on where you go. 'Officer' is a general term. You are a government official upon employment, hence the title.

For communications, salary is pegged to private sector comms jobs, altho slightly higher I think.

All 3 types of IO are paid 20-30% higher than a typical civil service / stat board office job of the same rank.
