I think the more relevant question will be if you join them as a personal banker, how long can you be consistently hitting your KPIs and clinch the position out of the hundreds of personal bankers under UOB's payroll.

sometimes i look at those ppl working in a bank / finance industry, i laugh to myself and ask, "would their lives be much different if they had applied to work in the civil service?"
for that amount of stress and long working hours (inclusive of working on wkends) u put into working at a bank, i think 1 is better off working as a MX in the civil service...

For another local bank, when you are in a sales role (commercial banking, PFC, etc) you do not have bonuses. You only have your basic and commission (if you hit the sales target).
I'm not too sure about UOB.

plzzz not everybody is unambitious & slack like u. in civil service if not scholar ur gonna retire as director mx8 even if ur a top performer. mx8 is only 300k total package max.
banks can easily earn 2-3 times that if ur a good performer.
