I am also very curious to know where the entry point is for fresh lawyers in compliance. Would most of them jump straight into higher roles such as compliance officers, corporate governance, policy sort of roles without much or any years of experience.

Or are there any lawyers who actually start out from the ops side doing cdd/kyc/monitoring roles and if they did, would the relevant-years-of-experience requisites be as stringent still?
