DSTA, PUB or JTC
 

For fresh grad engineers, which of the 3 above would be a better place to start up from? I am really having a hard time to decide... although 3 of them come under statutory board but the starting pay does differ quite a bit.

Need some advice here... graduating in May 2015...

u shud try lta, they are the richest of the lot.

dsta for defence stuffs, jtc for industrial stuffs. see which 1 u like.

Dsta defence related initial pay high but you need to deal with mindef which can be quite troublesome. Pub more relaxed compared to DSTA but mainly managing of water infra. Jtc has higher potential to work on interesting projects.

Jtc without a doubt.

got offer from both dsta and pub. I turned down jtc interview cause kind of bad if I were to reject them in the end...

Between DSTA and PUB I suggest you choose one that lets you learn the most, learn skills that are transferable.

In the long run you stand to gain from it should you choose to step out of govt sector.
