I got recruited from the consulting analyst-Talent Advancement Program opening, joined Accenture under the consulting pods in tap, contract also put my talent segment as consulting. But I also asked to join the orientation day 3 service call for technology instead. Think cos TAP huge group are tech and easier for them to just do one orientation for all TAP joiners regardless you’re from the consulting pods or tech pods. But guess your talent segment comes in when you’re allocated to project, should be close to what your talent segment is.
Anyone with more info feel free to chim in.

Hello, is the service line same as your deployed to entity aka your “department”?

For the workday recruiting candidate sign in, under the on-boarding page the top left stated the manager, is that the manager you’re under the care of when you officially start your first day? Then you will be the same line of service as the manager right or can it be different also?

They won’t let you know one so you gauge if like a month plus and they didn’t contact you for more info more or less should be completed.

It took them slightly over a week to get back to me. I received an email from Accenture support saying it was complete.

The service call for last day of orientation when you join is it standard for all Talent Advancement Program new joiners? Regardless if you’re holding a consulting position from the consulting pods or business and integration position from tech or software pods you all attend the same technology service call?
Heard from a friend who’s contract put him as consulting talent segment and he’s a consulting analyst from the TAP consulting pod but he has as also asked to join the technology service call but seems like his dte or the area he belongs to is consulting leh??

Tbh the pods don’t matter - you’ll be staffed based on project needs. E)
.g. If you’re in consulting pod but they need a tester, guess what you’ll be staffed as a tester for as long as they require.
