Hey all, I’m joining in June and wanted to check if there’s any like training session or like onboarding “workshop” on your first day at work? Or you just collect laptop and start work? Cos I mean fresh grads we don’t know the company stuff, the project work.

Anyway, ACN has its prestige la... It's just that its prestige is not in software engineering area.
You ask me to choose between the different tech consultancies, I'll go with ACN lol. It's just what the individual is looking for in their career...

That guy who say low hanging fruit is either too talented or too useless. It's either on one end of the spectrum lol.
What prestige lmao all you do is only implementation. So what’s the strengths of Accenture then? Strength in listening to clients and doing what they tell you instead of real consulting work? People who apply for Accenture majority use it as backup lo

Came across many with the title “strategy and consulting analyst”, is it the same as those with the title “management consulting analyst”? What do they do like the typical job scope? Is there proper training in place as it seems like everyone is thrown to the job which also means everyone’s tasks differs despite being in the same role? So basically new analysts just do the saikang work that the seniors don’t want?

MC usually execute strategy that client team/ strategy consultants come up with strategy formulated. They don’t usually do the software implementation work that is done by tech..

So mc is different from the strategy and consulting analyst? Cos under tap the consulting pods (change management and talent strategy) seems to be the strategy and consulting analyst, at least from what I have heard. Didn’t see any specific entry level opening for mc tho

MC also sits under S&C. Generally, strategy team does strategy formulation. MC does the execution of strategy execution (including change management). But its not exactly a hard and fast rule - depends on what is being sold.. MC team also does pure strategy if they manage to win the strat project

As the name (MC) implies, C is CL9, why would you see it in entry level opening..

This forum alot of replies from noob analysts who dont know shite outside of their project and think their own experience at their project is the same experience everyone has at accenture.

There are also alot of replies from contract staff who arent good enough to enter as fulltimer straight away and are only hired on contract basis to supply additional unplanned manpower in order to fight project. Fires. After the project gg, you are gone too.

And alot of wannabes here who either applied to accenture before and got rejected, then come in and complain this and that because of sour grapes.

Joke thread. Joke company.

C is CL9 and entry level? What happened to CL11? or even CL13 for new associates? Seems like you know just a bit from someone in accenture thats all.
