hard truth here. A lot of “analyst” in ACN can’t even code. Many learned and used enterprise software like SAP.. which makes their skills totally irrelevant once the change project or job. Many people are stuck in ACN after 2 years with no real skills for any exit opportunities. End up grind for 10 years still cannot make it to associate manager.

So true. The same for other SI companies as well. Tech consulting provides no valuable technical skills while having to engage IT illiterate clients

Well the truth is tech consulting people dont ever need to be very technically proficient. They just need enough to get by the planning and strategy with clients and outsource the tech implementation to offshore which clients are perfectly ok with.

Instead, contrary to popular beliefs, the skills that tech consulting people need are actually understanding how to mix and match different tools and integrate them into the existing solution architecture while also knowing the cost and benefits, technical limitations, how they can better match user/business requirements while doing so.

Hehe and this is where you get all the CMI system that is so badly designed that the one developing it cannot even recognize it. Then contract over, no new company want to take over unless u paying a premium :P

Hi, I have an upcoming interview with Elevate Experience Technology Assessment Center. Heard from friends in Accenture that it is a group presentation format with 4-5 participants. Out of which, only two will get the job offer. Can any kind soul explain more about this interview session? Thanksss
