Hi folks. Just sharing my data here for reference.
Joined the management Consulting practice 5 years back fresh from college
Drew 3800+300
Increment is based on your base pay, average of 4-5% a year if no promotion. With a promotion, the bump is around 45-50%.
Average promotion is 3 years although top performers / experienced hires can do in 1.5-2.5 years.
In Strategy and Consulting, our career level goes from L11-L9-L7 and so on. So analyst to consultant to manager to senior mananger to MD. Unlike the Tech delivery practice where the jump is one level at a time, so senior analyst, associate mananger etc.
Analyst 5 years back - 4.1k
Consultant 6-7k
Manager 10-12k
There will be a range depending on how long you took to get the promo, and if you were an experienced hire. Bonus generally between 1.5-2 months.
Culture wise, generally positive. Supportive colleagues and superiors. Lots of exposure Togo working with clients and colleagues from different culture.
Hope this helps!

Know already why still ask whether level 11 or not at that pay. Something tells me you dont quite believe fresh grads are getting that pay? Note that they dont have 5k sign on bonus now so you still end up better than them several years ago

Wow. 5% increment per year? For average performers too?
Promo 45-50%?!?! Means for analyst to senior analyst pay up from 4k to 6k??? Are you sure?
