Techies are not valued as they like to outsource technical work to low cost country like india/Philippine/vietnam. The only reason why they hire local techies is because they do alot of government proj and some of the module are impossible to offshore due to sensitive nature of the project

Its not about work life balance. Its about the company treating you as disposable thrash..... u do all the work and the consultant who just talk get all the bonuses/promotion/increment.... worst still some of the consultant are not even the least of a bit technical and anyhow promise customer feature that cannot be delivered in the stated timeline and you are there to pick up the **** =P.... they wont say consultant anyhow promise, they will say the technical folks are incompetent

yes there is. Bus & Tech delivery is created for a particular industry only. so people hired to that specialization can only take project roles in that particular industry.
business & integration people can take roles in any industry

Hi anyone know what's the difference between a TC and MC. Applied for the graduate opportunities and received an offer for TC. What drove their decision to offer TC instead of MC/Strat/Tech? Thanks for any help on this matter.
