But I think people need to be wise about it and not just in the heat of the moment to jump out and end up regretting explains why there’s those couple of boomerangs. But they tend to be good performers too who decide to jump back as a SM and above and enjoy the life more

I consider myself as a above average performer with more than 18% in bonus at CL10 level for 2 years (Both year above 18%). Promotion delay from CL11-> CL10, CL10-> CL9. Currently aldy in accenture for 3 years 6 months. Foolish of me to keep believing in management. Previously got job offer but i didn't quit cause I believe in the managemen, mark tham and the promotion system. Found out people (girl) fast track promotion but performance lousier than mine, l@njia0

Actually gender doesn’t play a part in the promotion speed here tbh. It may be a case of the company is made up of more females than males. Your promotion was delayed by how long? Because since 1-1.5 years ago the whole 1+2 is no longer realised under TAP. Great performers fastest is also at least 1.5 years from A to SA and 2 years from SA to C. This is for fresh grad out of school upon joining Accenture. Average now is 2 years A to SA. Indeed your bonus is considered on the higher end.

I was L11 for close to 3 years even though performing above my level consistently, only found out why so slow last year cause my boss didn't bother to put me up for promo when the time is up causing me to miss cycles. My PL also useless just parrot Mark Tham whenever I confront him
Guess I'm the clown for being hardworking yet not being aware that my boss don't know/cbf about my work lol. Luckily left the moment I got a job since again I heard no one from L11 promoted last year.

Over here slowly you’ll realised promotion is not the job of the PL of course they should do it lah but it’s considered an additional job for them specially so if they have a lot of counselee under him or her and they tend to be a M and above can be busy also. Individuals should also actively prepare themselves and take charge of it be it checking in and holding your PL accountable or project. Not easy lah but must do more if you really want that promotion to justify your hard work also
