Yup.

This is also the same for other popular programs like the DBS SEED.

When I talk to my DBS friends and intro them to my TAP colleagues, all of us have the same topic, useless managers, bullshet work, lj guidance system, nothing but stupid BS meetings just to act like they do a lot for us when they don't.

I feel the whole Tapper program have been failure and now become a big scam becos they didn't and cannot fulfil the 1+2 promotion promise anytime soon

those who join last and this year new joiner are now kenna stuck

this is why u just do the program, chill as much as u can, finish it, get perm title and use it as "experience" to go other companies.

Recall there was one sm (still in the firm) mentioning why she don’t get so many people asking her why she still in the company after so many years. Then she show the shock face like it’s amazing to stay here. Honestly I more shock upon hearing her since I’ve always heard people wanting to leave after a few years or people who have left. Guess there’s really some people who love it here

Actually I see where the SM is coming from. If you play your cards right and get promoted every 2 years, it’s considered a healthy progression and there is no reason for you to leave. if you job hop to a company without fixed trajectory, it’s highly likely that you will have to change jobs every 2-3 years to get a huge pay bump. It’s wiser to stay within the same firm and stick to something that you are familiar with.

You do have a point but note that one doesn’t get to promote every 2 years here. Especially if you’re in the consulting pipeline, promotions are much tough given the number of spaces above, once you hit c level it’s a “up or out” culture. You can be good in your work and all, but all the promotions I’ve seen here many times are not entirely fair. There are people who are not deserving yet they get promoted at the same time or even faster than those who deserves it.

WFH is like same working

sometimes the project have some CNY celebration, sometimes we are so busy we have to stay at client site until we miss the whole event

and also the SLA is like never stop

Even PH, or Weekend or even mark tham say early friday end work, nobody respect that, everyone just stay at office do work
