If you were to remove change from the equation, consulting folks are mainly doing TOM, research studies and BPR. I’m saying that these projects are not common. Therefore, like what you said, consulting folks are pushed to take up the change workstream in a SI project. But are the other offerings that you were saying common? No. I am in consulting myself and I haven’t been doing those consulting projects that you’ve mentioned.
It’s not about not knowing what’s available, it’s about coming to terms with what’s there in the pipeline and being realistic.

Yup. End of the day accenture is a SI, not a strategy/mgmt consulting company. Your job in mgmt consulting is to upsell for long term SI work which is stable, long term profit.

My advice for both tracks:
- if in consulting track, do your 3 years get to consultant level and leave for tier 2 / MBB if you’re a rockstar
- if in tech track, learn transferable tech skills (excel, sql, AWS) then pivot to your enterprise SAP Salesforce workday datadog where you just integrate one technology.
Great exit ops with better wlb and way better $$$.

Any1 knows about the project
1) ACE v2
2) WDA invictous
3) MoH
Apart from these,
For techno functional & application developer role, do they expect one to have programming knowledge in that language prior to entering?
