Why would someone with a Technical degree or have the tech skills go to Accenture and expecting to do real tech work?

You need more of soft skills than your implementation/technical skills once you hit manager level. You will need to do sales if you can’t you either can’t get promoted or rather someone will replace you in your role.

If you truly keen to know, you will use other more accurate resources to find out, can’t believe have to teach you this. You can connect with those on LinkedIn who are doing consulting in Accenture and ask them, or even during the TAP talks they tend to have people from different functions there.

The whole point of this forum is to get info right? TLDR not many people here know what business strategy analyst do

Change management is rather important and it’s needed in every project. So well you hardly will get benched. It’s quite big in H&PS service projects as a previous op had pointed out. The dude who previously said it’s just teaching users to use systems is so wrong, clearly isn’t someone who’s in S&C holding a strategy or consulting role. So much salt and hate in his post must have been hurt badly. To everyone who wants to know certain things, it’s so easy to tell which post is true and which isn’t, take certain things with a pinch of salt yea.
