What they said is very true. ACN Singapore focus on public service projects ( especially healthcare). Things can get messy. Clients have the final say, we as their “consultants” only can follow and try to make compromises. Not easy life. But no choice really

Thanks for confirming and sharing on this. Wanted to ask if you could give some examples of the demanding requests from the clients?

3. Many leave after a few years, a large portion due to the work life balance (yes you can argue consulting or other big companies work life balance also not that great, but you try acn one is like everyday your body can’t take it one, and coupled with the pay is not even worth)
4. The company name is known for sure, same for any MNCs or so, there’s good and not so good employees, exit opportunities depend largely on you as an individual still.
Good luck,
Ex-ACN intern and Analyst (left btw for a higher salary)

Where did you leave to? Trying to understand the exit ops.

Pros:
1. structured career path. First few promotions to CL9 consultant is almost guaranteed even for average performer within 3-4 years. Just need to put in the hours.
2. many different roles to take on (since you on project basis)
Cons:
1. long hours, no work life balance. Will only get worse the higher you go.
2. may get stuck at CL9 consultant and hard to make it to Assistant manager if you don’t demonstrate you are hungry enough.
Advise to fresh grads: Accenture is a great place to kick start your career. If you can make assistant manager by 5-6 years, the pay is very comfortable for someone in late 20s/ early 30s. (8-9k/ mth) Also plenty of opportunities to change job as Accenture’s brand name is well-knowned in Singapore and globally.
|
Why made you stay for a decade, given all the cons listed above?

Heard the acn revised their insurance last year and it’s better? Like higher amount and covers surgical, hospitalisation, gp, etc? Also includes family insurance?
Are these for all acn employees ranging from analysts to managers etc? Or only associate manager and above?

Hi, can someone chime in on whether these numbers are accurate?
Accenture(Strategy) = 5.6k
Accenture (TAP) = 4.9k
Can i also get an estimate of rough total comp package how many months? Not applying for acn, just tryna gauge these numbers for benchmark
Thanks!
