personally got a few tech friends in accenture, yeah pay sucks and WLB is **** but they left after 1-2 years for 20-30% higher pay with better WLB
its worth it imo. better than joining some trash company and getting 0 interviews because recruiters dunno wtf company u work for

That’s true the company name is really considered pretty good, fresh grad pay is considered higher than most company’s already. But guess it has also made a name for its high OT culture… Have seen many analysts who left for higher pay or even better companies so the exit opportunities shouldn’t be bad. As much as how it seems that they recruit a number of analysts yearly, this also due to the fact that they need to fill the gaps in the talent pool, but it doesn’t mean it’s easy to get in too, there are many who get rejected during each hiring stages - for both internships and ft positions.

will it be hard to pivot out to more proper change management consulting work with the skills gained here then? like areas such as leadership development, org development etc

Ah! Omg didn’t know the TAP back in early Jan was for both the tracks, I thought it was for the tech analyst side and hence only applied for the latest opening for consulting 😬😅
Ohh wow the HR do reply you on this query or yours? 😂 cos I thought they would ignore normally. Thanks so much for sharing on this though!
Hopefully I do hear from them soon, been thinking I could have been rejected

Do consulting analysts learn anything tho cos the work seems quite admin style… didn’t expect this for consulting leh. Also if that’s the case, able for consulting analysts in Accenture to move to better consulting companies out there, like say MBB after few years of work experience? Cos if the kind of consulting work is like what you’ve shared in Accenture, then not very useful leh for better consulting firms
