Is the OT culture really that bad in Accenture? Is it only for certain departments or certain projects?

Can those who got advanced for the analyst positions kindly share how long does it take to hear back on next stage? I applied 3 weeks ago and did not hear back.

No use one. Even with the fast promotion thing people are still leaving.
1 year to senior analyst, 2 more years to tech lead. But so what? If the toxic culture and long hours don’t change, people are going to leave eventually.

Actually can refuse OT one. I know this analyst (3rd year in acn but still analyst), everyday go off on time at 6pm. After 6pm impossible to find him. Every project he got on, the manager want to roll him off ASAP.

True la, but how toxic is the culture tho cos I honestly only heard a lot on the OT being very high… I didn’t hear on the toxic culture part 😬 if you don’t mind sharing the toxic culture as in colleagues are hard to work with and backstab? Or like efforts not appreciated

Omg is that why he’s still stuck at analyst role 😬 but this quite sad cos I mean contract wise stayed till 6pm and every employee has the right to refuse OT. Although mah end up like this guy lah but it’s damn sad leh like MOM also stated can’t OT majority of the days. But well guess ACN expects all to OT 😬🥲

Are exit opportunities good though? Like those who leave willing to give up the pay and brand name? Do they move on to higher roles or bigger companies like Google, Amazon, MBB and so on?
