progression is accenture is actually much better than most firms. take for eg the new analyst program, you get to come in at 4.9k and in 1 year you will get promoted to SA & get a pay bump that comes along with it. not many firms can match this tbh

1 year get promoted to SA? Please don’t spread such lies. A simple search online will reveal that A to SA takes anywhere from 2-3 years. Agree with you that the starting salary is quite attractive to the layman tho, but then again they are mass hiring pretty much everyone at this point (let’s be honest, barriers to entry not high at all). And if you count the hourly pay, it really isnt that fantastic tbf. But to each it’s own I guess — ACN is pmuch BA and tech consulting work, so if you are truly interested in vanilla mgmt consulting, ACN is probably not the right place.

Thats right. Those are the behkan ones.
Basically with the new TAP program they have to auto promote all those who didnt get promoted to sr analyst even after being there for more than 1 year. If they dont do this, all the laojiao analysts will KPKB.
Time will tell (end of this year) whether those on TAP really get promoted after 1 year or not.
