oh, unless you're from accenture strategy, im sure you get more than 12k.

Default Different btw Perm and Contract position

So my question is what is the difference between a contract employment and a perm position in Accenture?
Perm position normally enjoy additional benefit, like transport allowance, lifestyle allowance (previously known as flexible benefit), free health screening (for those aged 32 and above), insurance coverage, etc. Contract position maybe without all these benefits depends on the what is written on the contract.

In terms of job security, Perm position is better. if you are rolled off from a project, HR may place perm staff at another project opening first. Contract staff really need to go if there is no opportunity.

join consulting as TC or MC 4.2 all in.. strat is around 5.4 or something.

year on year increment depends on the number of months you work before FY close, the overall OG performance, ranking etc. for analyst - typically may range from 0 to 300 (very rare). My guess is this translates to around 3%-5%

Depending on which function in consulting you end up in - Typically TCs get promoted slightly faster (around 2 years), then MC (ard 2.5 yrs), then Strat (around 3 years or even longer)

promoted pay at next level for TC and MC as consultant is around 6.8k, then manager is around 10+, for strat consultant is around 8k.. not sure. Just know that a Strat Senior Mgr earns as much as TC/MC lowest level MD.

But don't need to think too much, I think for the whole of this year we only hired 1 new person in TC and MC respectively. Probably no headcount.. last year hired too many.. hope this helps

Is there anyone who knows the difference between a Business and Technology Delivery Analyst and a Business and Integration Arch Analyst at Accenture?

Is there a difference to their job responsibilities and career prospects?

Rule of Thumb for accenture:

Dun join their software engineering position
1. The starting pay is much lower than consulting counterpart (3.6k regardless of honours)
2. You will be treated as 2nd class citizen there since they dun value software engineering(outsource whatever technical work they can)
3. You will be working with lots of FT which may have higher pay than you but in terms of skill level might be lower than you

Conclusion if it is not a offer for consulting, dun join accenture as there are much better option out there for software engineer with high starting pay of 4k+ and you will be viewed as an asset instead of some factory worker =)

I just applied to Accenture technology and I faced the same problem as some of the posters in the earlier thread. I was told that my closing interview went fine and they are now checking with the business side to source out for possible projects that I can embark on after I join the company. However, the waiting period has been painfully long, 5 weeks. It has been 5 weeks and the HR is still trying to obtain replies from the business side. Given that Accenture constantly sends out rejection email to those who didn’t make it, am I still under consideration for the role? Has anyone faced this situation before? can you guys share with me how long did you wait?
