It is actually common for people to nego for MA programmes. Of course they won't be dumb enough to brag to others so usually no one within the batch finds out.

If the hiring manager really likes you, he will fight for a higher salary for you.

True. I managed to do it, just need to piak piak the hiring manager. Abit old but gotta do what i gotta do
