They likely won't reject you till the chosen candidates have signed. If there were reasons, it would be the regular reasons, where they have a high number of candidates etc. But in truth, it's just because you're not the best candidate for the job.

Do they send rejection emails after the panel interview?

I reckon that those who have already been accepted have received calls, those who have not will be awaiting the rejection email which is sent out to all the rejected candidates at once. But that's purely my based on my own speculation. Hope this helps!

My opinion: They will not send out rejection emails if you are on the waitlist. This is to safeguard the company's interest in the event the successful ones reject/renege. So if u get a call likely its good news. Bad news if you just get an email. By now, most people have been called already. If you happen to get a call a week or 2 from now, someone else rejected the offer first. But keep faith, you never know what might happen.
As for the package, its between 4-5k, attractive leave and benefits.
Hope this helps. In the mean time, all the best everyone for your other applications.
