i grad in 2009 with 2nd lower hons but i can safely say that im more competent at work than most of my peers wif better grades

current;y earning >130k pa

Which industry are you from? Job title?
More doors are shut for those deg without honours.

I was from local U Engin and w.o honours so engineer or govt job is cmi for me. Eventually went into foreign bank with 4+k starting and got promoted after 2 years of working now 5+k...

My advise is: internship, certain certifications (e.g. CFA), network (and luck) help a lot before you graduate...
