Considering between this and a trading analyst role at a small firm. 3.2k vs 3.8k. I think the prospects over there are better long term but 600/mth difference is quite a big deal at this salary quantum.
Then again not sure if I want to do ops long term, or if there is any career upside.

I think you should join DBS ops. Got the brand name and the perks aren't all that bad.
I'm deliberating between this and a finance role which is offering 3.5k...

Finance as in those FPA or cash flow roles? Didn't know they took fresh grads for those, thought mostly ex big 4.

The prospects will be quite limited without some accounting background. Better to take CPA at some point.

You don't wanna do ops long-term, or even medium-term. It's not gonna look good on your resume. Plus the work is low-skill and progression, bonuses will go to front and middle offices first.

Was thinking this as well. Might take up the trading analyst role and grind for 1-2 years.
