Yea seems odd. They're hiring very aggressively atm. Probably a failed program due to past batches of map underperforming?

yes. I heard many useless MA and GA. Look at their top management how many of them are from such programs internally. Seems to be not even a handful. Now that MA is scraped, soon will scrap GA for future batches too I heard.

who got fired for recent digital banking disruption?

Unregistered 12-12-2021 08:07 PM

They are hiring aggressively in tech, not for general finance/biz roles.

Anyone heard back after the AC?

Unregistered 23-12-2021 05:22 PM

Anyone got a reply after AC on 9th?

Unregistered 23-12-2021 05:29 PM

Nope, no reply on my side. I think even if you get rejected there will be a rejection email. But I have no news on my side so far, positive or negative

Unregistered 23-12-2021 07:33 PM

No news means goodbye liao. It is already late into the recruiting season. They won't wait so long to give out the offers and risk losing the good candidates.

That’s local banks’ recruiting strategy though. If you didn’t realise, BBs typically open and close recruitment first (to quickly secure top tier candidates). Only a few months later you see local banks opening up applications. Same goes for both graduate and internship opportunities.

Unregistered 25-12-2021 02:13 AM

told to wait 3 more weeks

3 more weeks? People would alr have accepted ocbc / uob / singtel. What is the HR doing. So incompetent.

Local banks HR, what do you expect? Usually just a dumping ground for those not good enough for BB or foreign banks, but at least good enough for a program.

Unregistered 25-12-2021 12:21 PM

3 weeks? offer was made last week. i think you might be on wait list

Unregistered 25-12-2021 12:24 PM

is dbs offer 3.8k? or bumped up to $4k already

They made offers? Didn't HR say there would be a panel interview afterwards?

Unregistered 25-12-2021 07:48 PM

How much would a avp in treasury with 5 yoe earn? MBA grad.

I see, so the AC was on the 9th and they reviewed the AC, made panel interview arrangements, did the panel interviews and made offers in the span of 1 week?

9th ac is the later ac. panel interviews were already running on that week.

Unregistered 27-12-2021 07:35 PM

1. Panel interview is not over, my friend just received the invite.

2. DBS starting pay for the grad programme is 4.5k, as listed on mycareersfuture, which is quite accurate.

3. There is only one AC on the 9th, which was communicated quite clearly by the HR to all those who attended the AC.

I just received the invite too. The AC was a fun experience for me and I was actually disheartened to not hear back for awhile.

Good luck to your friend! For those who got the invitation, good luck for the interview as well, while those who didn't, still wish you all the best for your search! Happy holidays everyone.

Maybe state why you say otherwise so we can have a better picture? Are you HR? Are you part of the program? Or friends with someone who is?

The other poster mentioned at least 2 very accurate info which I myself could verify (1 being that invitation was sent out today and 2 being there was only 1 AC date) Anyway, the value is suggested only because he/she saw it on mycareersfuture which is a govt website and likely posted by DBS themselves. The application has closed so the job posting can longer be found but I would be inclined to believe him/her.

And the thing is it was a reply to someone asking a qns and they were at least being helpful.

The comeback of a troll who got exposed. Better luck next year bro 🤣 can continue trying to scam the next gen of people who wanna apply

Unregistered 28-12-2021 11:58 AM

4.5k is the least they should be paying to attract grads.

And within 2 years all the grads will be gone anyways. Local banks have always had an issue retaining real talent and this program is no different.

Unregistered 28-12-2021 01:37 PM

Post the 4.5k MCF for DBS GA. So much talk, put link leh

Unregistered 28-12-2021 01:55 PM

if they really pay 4.5k then i'm scooting out of HSBC and going straight to DBS
