Just curious, how is the corporate culture like in DBS?

I think it's not bad compared to other local bank. Just look at the employee programs they have and also their office looks damn good also

Think it also depends on where u posted to. DBS had 3 offices across SG

How do we know which role goes to which office? Would they assign you one nearer to your house?

OT not really, quite work life balance.

You referring to SME or Ops?

Work life balance is not too bad for Ops during the grad program in my almost 1 year experience, OT was very very rare haha

Oh and I'm not sure about after the grad program, but my dept usually leaves and comes to work on time

Ops isnt as bad as it used to be in DBS, from what my manager shared with me

Most of the manual and tedious operational work pushed have been pushed to the tech and ops team offshore, now more focus on bigger picture stuff

The grad program during my time was 2 rotation for 1 year but now i think is 3 rotations for 7 months. The first 2 years is really about learning and experiencing rather than throwing u direct to high impact ops work. So first 2 years is generally more relaxed

U get to state ur preference during the initial training period, but they will assign after

Around 15 for Ops, 7 for SME

How does DBS GA program compare to OCBC GTP and UOB MA (GA disguised as MA lol)

Some even better, use the term Management Associate program to disguise lol even if no intention to fast track their career into management team

Common among MNC and startup. Normally good MA comes from reputable companies and many people apply for it like singtel, p and g, unilever.
