i've looked at several linkedin profiles and found that some traders began as a reporter/journalist in a certain commodity before moving on to a trading role of that commodity some years later. May I know if it is advisable to start off in a journalism job (assuming that I'm unable to land an entry-level position in trading) and and then move on to a trading house from there? Thanks

Just got a junior trade job as a fresh grad. Its not that hard if you bother trying and have some basic intellect.
