Salary for Pharmacy Technician
 

Hi,
I'm a recent fresh graduate in Malaysia and studying Biomedical Science (Degree with Honours). May I know how much is the salary for pharmacy technician/ assistant particularly in hospital-based such as SGH, Tan Tock Seng Hospital etc. ? Is it worth for me as I need to pay room rental, food, transport etc.

you'll be competing with the local grads, whose average and 75th percentile salary figures are:

NUS Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) (Hons) – $3,540 (3,750)

i'm guessing you can take a 10-20% off from the above figures to get an estimate of what you will be getting.

I used to be a PT
 

I used to be a PT in the polyclinic and have many friends working as PTs in the hospitals. The starting pay is 1.7k-1.8k SGD. I think the above poster got the salary wrong. Those salaries are for pharmacists who actually have a degree in pharmacy.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to be a PT with a degree? PTs usually hold diplomas....
