band 1/2 & promotions reserved for support staff like hr, finance and new ses business, while engineers in the grid are told excuses like no quota or bell-curve. HOS indirectly share band 4 is average and band 3 is lucky. my fellow colleague have not been promoted for almost 10 years threw letter, boss begged him not to leave due to manpower shortage of engineers wif switching authorization.

many of their top scholars wif stellar academic qualifications like double majors or overseas award hop to DSTA, LTA, EMA for smelly smelly 15-20% pay jump for less hazardous work and better wlb. feel free to search brightsparks portal and count how many scholars are still wif SP. if they can't retain their high potential scholars, what more for other engineers.

Its obvious ure not an engineer in SP, not sure which dept u from but sure, continue being
delusional. Thats why i always say, engineers involved in maintaining the grid with huge risks are not being appreciated at all.

Any particular difference in the responsibilities between Principal 2 and Principal 1?
And after Principal 1 is what title?

I heard the knowledge and experience gained as an engineer in SP Group is not really relevant to outside industries. Is this true?
