I've did a search on linkedin, and of the 10 plus profiles of ex singtel MAP graduates, almost half of them are finance associates in another firm, 3 in insurance or "financial advisory", among others.

Surprisingly, none of them in a leadership role, in which the MAP purpotedly is meant to groom you for.

So despite the relatively high starting pay this MAP has no future ah

I'm in this currently! Salary is pretty competitive (among the higher ones actually). You have a huge batch of around 50 people that you can connect and make friends with. Work wise, it depends on where you're posted to, everyone has a different experience. Overall I'm happy with where I am right now.

Mmmm you start off about 2 years ahead of direct entry associates when you first enter, i.e. the 2nd pay grade. Then you can expect to get promoted once every 2-3 years, depending on performance.
