Is it true that the behavioural interview is the most important session from which the hiring managers select the candidates? If a candidate only has average performance for the behavioural interview, does that mean that he/she stands little chance to proceed to the final panel interview?

lol i was the OP who said this earlier in the thread, pls this is just my opinion and we will never really know the real criteria unless the HR comes into this thread. that being said, personally i believe the behavioral interview was the make or break as idt assessment centre have much to assess anyway (since it was p much a 5-10 min presentation lmao) if u felt that your interview was sub-par, id recommend u keep ur head up and keep sending applications. and if you expect nothing then itll be a pleasant surprise for you or par for the course anyway. I was from one of the previous panel interviews. Origianlly, it was supposed to be zoom but we did receive an email saying that the senior leaders might want the session to be carried out f2f. We still ended up doing it via zoom as some members were not able to make it f2f.

So, just be prepared that your session will be carried out f2f.
