can anyone share a little insight on the video interview? in Indo, there are no clear path on whether we apply it for retail, corp, or tech/ops. But my case is to deterimine whether or not I'm gonna onboard a client (a publicly listed company) to the bank. So I guess my path here is leaned into the corp banking.
In Indo, before we got a link for video interview, there was a face to face interview with the HR. The questions are situationial-based and hypotethical. So based on my conversation, this MA is different from the GA bcs for the MA graduates, they will be in a senior manager level while for GA they will be in Spv/Junior Manager level. So yes, this program is designed as an elevator program to fill in more leadership position within the bank.
Please CMIIW.
With kind regards,
YU

Hello YU,
I just wondering did you finish the video interview yet?
If yes, could you share some information to us like how many questions in the video interview? How long can we prepare/answer for each questions?
Thank you in advance!

since there are a few NUS MBA students here, do you guys think the 65k school fees is worth it? do you see good opportunities after you graduate or the MBA from NUS does not actually give a very good boost?

Yes I was wondering too
Esp for us Ntu/ Smu/ Nus BBAs (since we are alr holding an MBA)
Is an MBA worthwhile?
Also why not a ESSEC/Manchester/Insead MBA?

Well the purpose of MBA is to help you switch industry or career progression. Tbh I came for MBA a little too soon (under qualified for most companies that come to recruit), ideal time would have been with 4-6yrs work ex (most of LDPs want people with 4-6yrs work ex). A lot of my classmates here at CEIBS did their undergrads from top tier universities (some from NUS), so many CFAs/CPAs/Etc too. Most of them have been successful in switching industries and of course there is a salary boost as well.
About NUS MBA (I did exchange semester there), it's definitely not the best. Only for foreigners wanting to move to sg does NUS MBA make sense. If you can crack INSEAD however, there is nothing better. Their resources are unparalleled. Not even Harvard can match that.
