For MA programmes do i need to study accountancy/business in nus or ntu?

Doesn't matter. SMU/NUS/NTU will all be fine. But SMU tends to train its students better for banks (e.g. interview training, etc.).

Do the management associate programmes usually pay higher than say, business analysts for fresh grads in the same respective banks?

i cant say the same for the management associates of other banks but for DBS' MAs, their starting pay is higher than what the average analysts receive.

DBS normal analyst range from 4-4.5k, MAP pay higher from 4.8-7.2k

Who are you smoking? Citi MA pay is 4.5k, DBS starts at 4.8?

This is utter rubbish. It's posts like this which make me cringe; stop providing wrong information to others! DBS MA pay is around $4.3k/mth.
