Seems like a scam
I found the fact that one recruiter (regionUP), all of a sudden, has such a strong monopoly in the mid-senior level jabs in a market, very strange.
I asked around to some headhunters based in Singapore that I know from before and most said its a scam. There is ofcourse the possibility that they said so because regionUp is competition, but I find their advertised jobs way to good to be with only one recruiter.
I work in shipping finance and some of their shipping finance jobs look made up with irrelevant figures.

it is a scam
DO NOT USE regionup, it is almost equivalent to a scam. No one should pay a service to apply for a job.

I've been a recruiter performing executive search close to two decades now but the idea of paying to search/apply/land a job is just bizarre IMO. There are numerous job boards/portals/ social media avenues you can reach out to for free, I'd seriously encourage every job seeker to really spend time doing research in the process of your job hunt.
Not saying RegionUp is a scam of any sorts but paying for what is supposed to be a free service just doesn't work for me.

Definitely a SCAM
Hi all,
I am a subject matter expert in a specialised function. Large companies often only have one person working in my area for APAC. Because of this, I have noticed that Region Up is definitely just copying other job ads which have been posted on free forums and by respectable recruiters such as Hays, Michael Page etc.
Also, there was one job listed where the recruiter misspelt the job title and RegionUp even copied it exactly even with the spelling error!
As there are so few jobs in my field (maybe 10-20 total), I can definitely notice that RegionUp is just copying and replicating them all.
Suggest that if you like the look of a job you see on a Region Up ad, google they key terms and you will find the original somewhere.
Don't waste your money. Total scam.

Don't use Region Up Job Portal
Have to add that Region Up Job Portal is very dubious and unprofessional. They won't offer information about their company structure and is not at all transparent! Everyone please avoid using this portal as most of their postings seemed copied or unreal. There are many credible job sites so use. Be careful!

RegionUp is a scam
REGIONUP is a scam. Most of the jobs they claim to advertise are ripped directly from public job boards in the first place. The rest are fake jobs. No respectable company would ever advertise their positions with RegionUp because of its unethical practices (deception, false job advertising, charging jobseekers to look at available positions)
Headhunters only charge you if they secure the job for you; in most cases, they won't even charge you-- just the employer. But there are still some incredibly gullible and unfortunate people out there who subscribe to their"service". it's a scam that does so well, they can afford to advertise almost everywhere (and I often see them advertised on LinkedIn)
