What kind of jobs are you applying for? My cousin dropped out of SIM and still was able to get a low-end admin job earning 2.2k. Sure its not a lot, but at least he's not jobless.

TBH most companies dont even consider SIM as a real degree. You should be applying as many jobs as you can. If you just limit to entry marketing job w/o any experience, it will take forever to get anything.

Marketing is a general discipline that dont really need any qualification, lots of people will be applying and chances are most of the jobs will go first to the ivies, then the local uni, then overseas aussie uni, then SIM.

Apply everything you can find, its a numbers game. The more you apply, the more chance to get something. Picking jobs to apply is only for those who have the luxury in the market.

There are many local startups that are hiring people for sales & marketing role. Have you tried applying to those?

Have you tried applying for sales related roles especially for those SME and startup ? Pay is low but it's better than nothing.

I think at this point you can't afford to be too choosy. More importantly, you should be applying to entry level positions that do not require experience. You shouldn't be trying for any positions that are likely to require experience. As a hiring manager, I will say that you are pretty far down the food chain to be even considered if I truly require someone to hit the ground running. So don't keep banging your head against the wall: it's not what you think you want to do, but what is most likely for you to get hired for.

As a rule of thumb, any ad that says need relevant exp you can skip. There's no point cauz firstly they wont consider freshie, secondly even if they do, they not gonna get some SIM guy.

Your strategy is simple, go to all the the job portals you can find and apply for ALL jobs that are willing to accept freshie. Submit your CV to ALL recruit agents.

Every 100 application, you will get 2-3 first round interview. Out of every 10 first round interview, maybe 1-2 will hit 2nd round. Then hopefully you will get an offer eventually. If you work the maths backwards, you should apply for at least 200-300 jobs to have a good chance at getting an offer.

I didnt apply for sales-related jobs as I believe to the introverted and I dont think I can make it there, there's the issue there.

Have applied for jobs with several agencies as well as targeted and applied jobs requiring minimal experience but to no avil. That's why I am very lost as to whether to take up any internships if there is to improve the situation.

"Several" agencies is not enough. You need to apply at least 50 jobs that don't need experience every week. Anything less than that is just not enough.

Introvert or not is not the point here - you have no job, what else can you do? A sales job for an introvert is still better than doing odd-jobs in an "internship" in some local SME.
