Will headhunters work with jobless jobhunters?

Some headhunters have approached me but I have not revealed to them that I have already resigned.

I wonder if they will drop me like a hot potato if I reveal the truth or if they were to find out.

If you have a good track record and work experience, I don't think there will be an issue.
