Haha true... but honestly I don't mind having a name card saying Senior Vice President. It is useful to make a presence & do business in a social setting.

how many rounds of interview in jp morgan?

the most prestigious graduate MBA programs out there in Unilever, Shell, Microsoft, P&G, Exxon, JP Morgan or even administrative officer program in civil service just have 1 day assessment cetnre and maybe another 3-4 rounds of structured interviews.
normal banks need 8 rounds over 1 year just to get a VP or management associate is just inefficiency and lousy control from their hr side.
hsbc has ~25,000 vp world wide, i hope they are all not taking 8 interviews to hire...

Hi,
It appears that JP Morgan is looking for 30 VPs. If they take 8 rounds of interview for each candidate and there are 80 candidates (as some of them will not be selected), there are going to be more than 600 interviews!!!
HR sure knows how to keep their jobs. How can I get a job with JP Morgan in HR?

This is a typical senior exec / assistant mgr role with a fancy title of VP in banking. The dead giveaway is the mass recruitment of 30 openings at one go, one look can tell is quite low level.

I sure don't mind being ANYTHING - even a low level exec - in a bank if they are willing to call me a VP.
Beats me - how come there are 30 openings but only 12 applicants?
How many of these have been interviewed and rejected? Any offers made?

Are you sure is that high? Looking at the job and openings, looks more like general sales accounts exec...

Singaporeans should apply through jobsbank and not through the main portal. At least MOM can check how many applications from Singaporeans. By applying through the main portal, Singaporeans are encouraging the companies to get foreigners.
Foreigners should apply through the portal, Singaporeans through the jobsbank.

how long is the hiring process in Bank of America
I applied for a VP role in Bank Office. How long should I wait before calling the HR?
I anyway do not have the contact details of HR.
How many weeks/months for the process to be completed - reject/success is fine - I just need to know the outcome.

Move on with your life.
Dun bother to call, they will not entertain u one. They process thousands of applicants for hundreds of VP jobs everyday, nobody will go & dig out your file details to give you an update.
Just standard reply "processing" is all u will get.
