market rate for non eu/us bank. especially so when your degree is not related to finance. don't worry, i've calculated - with bonuses, aws and work evaluation, after a few years, salary is actually the same as your peers.

Unregistered 27-05-2014 05:01 PM

Seriously?! Can't be right. 2.6k is a bank support role? Should be higher.

Light5trike 27-05-2014 06:52 PM

Analyst position, what about 2.7 or 2.8k? Not so pathetic right?

Unregistered 27-05-2014 08:07 PM

Someone said he is earning $6k pm now at 25, just with his Nitec. You should go to ITE to get the Nitec cert.

only sg companies are ana1 where yr degree comes from. uk banks probably favour uol grads.

You got a degree from a second-rate university trying to enter a retrenchment-ridden industry and you're moaning about pay? Be glad you even got an offer.

yeah kind of. uol are found frequently in global banks because of a simple reason. cheap. in a department where multiple functions have already been outsourced due to rising cost, most global banks prefer DL degree grads due to the fact that it is much cheaper and you do not really need any specialised knowledge for daily BAU anyway.
