early 40's with 2 very young children

My passive income based on purely investment (do not have any investment rental property) is $20K/yr.

5yrs later (together with insurance) would be estimated at $41K/yr.

My SA currently stands at $137K and would continue to top up in cash to meet the min sum (this is to build up for future CPF life payout).

Hopefully sufficient to withstand any retrenchment as job is not stable.

Ques: How can I generate more passive income in the event of jobless?
