I would like to qualify that working for so many hours is only feasible or possible if you don’t have kids or anyone to care for. So it really depends on which stage of your life you are at.

And for tuition, some parents request for tutors to be of a certain age group eg. below 30, below 40. So it’s not something that I foresee myself doing or having many students when I am older.

Any idea what is the pay like as a full time tutor at tuition centres for moe teachers?

I'd be v happy with 1/3 your students/tuition income.

That’s pretty low given that there will be minimal progression

There’s always a trade-off.

Tuition centres pay differently. Some pay a fixed salary and require you to work fixed hours. I have seen a few offering $3k to $4k per month. Most go by hours ie. the number of lessons you take up.
